DONALD L. TUCKER CIVIC CENTER RANKS 4TH AMONG THE
‘TOP SPOTS IN FLORIDA’ ACCORDING TO VENUES TODAY

Tallahassee, FL – Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, a Spectra by Comcast Spectacor managed facility located on the campus of Florida State University, has received a distinguished honor from Venues Today. Based upon total gross ticket sales and attendance from April 1, 2015 – March 31, 2016, the Tucker Center ranked 4th within the state of Florida in venues with a capacity of 10,001 – 15,000 according to Venues Today Magazine.

Venues Today Inc. is the leading source of original reporting for live entertainment and events, serving management, owners, and suppliers to music, sports, and meeting venues internationally with an average of 1,500-2,000 venues reporting.

Over the last year, the Tucker Center hosted a variety of concerts including the 2015 Gospel Explosion, Celtic Woman, Zac Brown Band, Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage, Brantley Gilbert, and Yanni. Other events that have contributed to the venue’s #4 ranking include Monster Jam, Stomp, the 2015 League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational, WWE Live, Combat Night #50 and Combat Night #57, Amy Schumer & Friends, Flashdance The Musical, The Harlem Globetrotters, and Saturday Night Fever.

Two other properties Spectra by Comcast Spectacor operates in Florida also made the list, including CFE Arena in Orlando, Florida and the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida.
