Tucker Civic Center Collects Over 540 Lbs Of Food For FSU Food For Thought Pantry At Tailgate at the Tuck Charity Event

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides Venue Management to the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on the campus of Florida State University, held the first Tailgate at the Tuck Charity Event on the plaza November 21, 2015 prior to the FSU vs. Chattanooga home football game.

Tailgate at the Tuck, sponsored by WTXL (ABC) and WHTF-FM Hot 104.9, was a great community event that included interactive games, live music provided by the Michael Miller Band, giveaways, various drink specials, and great food from the building’s in house catering and local Food Trucks of the Tallahassee Food Truck Association. Fans brought canned food items to benefit FSU’s Food For Thought pantry, an on campus organization run by the Dean of Students that provides food to the FSU community and student population. The total weight collected was 540 pounds which will greatly benefit the FSU campus community.
