Covid 19 Policies & Procedures

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Tucker Center and to a safe and healthy environment.  We are continuing to work with the local, state, and national governmental guidelines for the reopening of our venue with new health and safety procedures.  The health and well-being of all of our patrons and staff is our top priority.

Below are the new policies & procedures that you can expect to see when coming to the Tucker Center:

  • Overview:
    • Patrons will be required to wear a face mask while in the venue.
    • The venue will follow social distancing protocols.
    • We encourage patrons to utilize card transactions for all purchases to limit contact.
    • Additional entrances and exits will be utilized.
    • Signage has been posted to remind guests & staff to remain socially distant, wear face coverings, & practice good hygiene.
  • Working Personnel:
    • All working personnel are required to wear face masks while in the venue.
    • All staff must pass temperature screening & health questions before entry into venue. Patrons are not required to go through this screening but are advised to not attend events if they have been exposed to or show symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Cleaning:
    • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the venue for patron and staff use.
    • Upgraded the rating of the venue air filters from MERV 8 to MERV 13.
    • Increased cleaning and sanitization of all high touch and high contact areas.
    • Electrostatic sprayers will be used to disinfect prior to each event.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect our venue guests.  However, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the CDC, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.  By entering the venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and the Tucker Center disclaims any and all liability related thereto.

In accordance with the guidance and recommendations set forth by the CDC and local health officials, we respectfully request that the following guests stay home:

  • Guests who are feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough and shortness of breath);
  • Guests who have been diagnosed with, or believe to have contracted, COVID-19, unless you have had no fever for 72 hours (without use of medicine) and 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared;
  • Guests who have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days; and
  • Guests who have traveled internationally in the past 14 days.

Thank you for doing your part to Stop the Spread! We can't wait to see you all soon!
