Covid 19 Policies & Procedures  

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the Tucker Center this season.  We are continuing to work with the local, state, and national governmental guidelines for the reopening of our venue with new health and safety procedures.  The health and well-being of all of our patrons and staff is our top priority. 

Below are the new policies & procedures that you can expect to see when coming to the Tucker Center: 

  • Overview:
    • It is expected that patrons wear masks while in the venue.
    • It is recommended that social distancing is practiced in the venue when possible.
    • We encourage patrons to utilize card transactions for all purchases to limit contact. 
    • Additional entrances and exits will be utilized.
    • Signage has been posted to remind guests & staff to remain socially distant, wear face coverings, & practice good hygiene.
    • The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center is now offering a text message service that allows fans to send questions, concerns, or requests via their mobile phones. For venue assistance or to report an issue, text the word TUCKER, followed by your message and location to (850) 445-7186. Standard text messaging rates apply.
    • A Clear Bag Policy will be effect for all events.  Each person is allowed to bring one clear bag (plus clutch or small purse) into the venue that is no larger than 12”x 6” x 12”.  Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5”x 6.5, or approximately the size of a hand, with or without a strap are allowed.
  • Working Personnel:
    • All staff must pass temperature screening & health questions before entry into venue. Patrons are not required to go through this screening but are advised to not attend events if they have been exposed to or show symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Cleaning: 
    • Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the venue for patron and staff use. 
    • Upgraded the rating of the venue air filters from MERV 8 to MERV 13.
    • Increased cleaning and sanitization of all high touch and high contact areas.
    • Electrostatic sprayers will be used to disinfect prior to each event. 

COVID-19 ALERT: We have taken enhanced health and safety measures to protect our venue guests. However, there is an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. By entering the venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and Venue disclaims any and all liability related thereto.

In accordance with the guidance and recommendations set forth by the CDC and local health officials, we respectfully request that the following guests not attend events:  

  • Guests who are feeling sick or experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms (including fever, cough and shortness of breath);
  • Guests who have been diagnosed with, or believe to have contracted, COVID-19, unless you have had no fever for 72 hours (without use of medicine) and 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared; and
  • Guests who have not been fully vaccinated and have been in contact with an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
