Ron White

Known for his cigar-smoking and scotch-drinking acts, Ron White rose to fame while on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour from 2000-2003. Since then, he has become one of the most successful comedians in America with four of his comedy albums charting #1 on the BillboardTM Comedy Charts, 14 million albums sold, two Grammy nominations, and is one of the top three grossing stand up comedians on tour in America.

White began performing in 1986, opening up for comedians such as Sam Kinison and Jeff Foxworthy. In 2000, he joined Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour. For the next three years, the four of them performed to audiences in over 270 cities, grossing more than $35 million. From 2003 to 2013, White released four albums with each one reaching Number 1 on the BillboardTM Comedy Charts and becoming certified Platinum. He also landed on the New York Times Best Seller List for his book Ron “Tater Salad” White: I Had the Right to Remain Silent…But I Didn’t Have the Ability.

Aside from his comedy acts, White is a passionate supporter of the U.S. military troops, donating both his time and resources to assisting troops and their families. For his comedy special in 2008 called Ron White’s Comedy Salute to the Troops, White donated all ticket and DVD sales to the Armed Forces Foundation. White has also played numerous supporting roles in movies and television shows such as Horrible Bosses, Sex and the City 2 and the Showtime series, Roadies.
