Solange’s management provided the following statement: “Due to a medical condition, Solange is unfortunately prohibited from live performances until further notice by her team of doctors. On behalf of Solange and the Saint Heron family, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused and thank you for your continued support.”


Refunds for the November 15th show will be available at the original point of purchase. Online purchases will be automatically refunded. If purchased at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center Box Office, refunds will be available starting Monday, November 13th at 10:00am. Donald L. Tucker Civic Center Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Tucker Civic Center at Florida State University, today launched its second annual Ticket 2 The Tuck Giveaway presented by POSS Medical Supplies. The sweepstakes will award one lucky fan with two tickets to every ticketed event in 2018 at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

October 27th, 2017 -  The Hurricane Relief Benefit Concert “Trying to reason…” with Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith and Jake Owen with The Coral Reefers Band taking place at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center on Sunday, November 19th has officially sold out in eleven minutes. This is the fastest sell out in venue history at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. “The support we have received throughout the community has been tremendous”, said Spectra’s Ron Rideout, General Manager at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. “We want to thank the individual artists performing for coming together to support all of the communities effected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.”



Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith to headline Florida Hurricane Benefit Concert

October 20th, 2017 - Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, and Toby Keith together with the Coral Reefer Band will unite to perform at a Florida Hurricane Benefit Concert, “Trying to Reason…”.

The benefit concert will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center in Tallahassee, Fla. Tickets to the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27. Tickets can be purchased online at www.tuckerciviccenter.com, by dialing (850) 583-4871 or at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center Box Office. All ticket prices are subject to applicable fees. Eight ticket limit per customer.

Proceeds of this benefit concert will help communities in Florida, Puerto Rico and the islands affected by hurricanes in 2017.

“Florida State University was fortunate to be spared from the worst of Hurricane Irma, but we know that was not the case for many of our fellow Floridians,” Florida State University President John Thrasher said. “We’re happy to be able to help our neighbors by hosting this benefit concert and hopefully offer some relief to those hardest hit by the storm.”

Staff spend morning packaging needed supplies for Puerto Rico Hurricane victims.

October 17th, 2017 - The Tucker Center staff spent their morning giving back to those in need. Located near the Tallahassee Airport, The Second Harvest Food Bank of the Big Bend provides much needed food, supplies and other necessities to the eleven nearby counties in the North Florida area. Over 15 participants packaged over 7,700 lbs of canned food in just a one day. Tucker Center Hosts Back-To-School Drive With Local Business Professionals

August 16th, 2017 - With Leon County and other surrounding areas getting ready to head back to school this week, the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center decided to pitch in. This past Thursday the Tucker Center hosted a back-to-school supplies drive in the arena restaurant Spotlight Grill. Drawing over thirty people, the Tucker Center provided food, drinks and a networking event through the local BNI chapter. Per their website, “BNI provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment for the development and exchange of quality business referrals.” These local area business professionals came out in force with supplies in hand, totaling over 2,300 much-needed items. These included 20 backpacks, 100 notebooks, 500 pencils, 300 pens, 200 highlighters, 30 Clorox wipes, 1,000 erasers, 50 composition notebooks and 30 packs of notebook paper. Once collected, these items were delivered to Sabal Palm Elementary located just miles from the Tucker Center.


Donald L. Tucker Civic Center Ranks 3rd Among ‘Top Stops in Florida’According to Venues Today

July 25th, 2017 - The Donald L. Tucker Civic Center, a Spectra by Comcast Spectacor managed facility located on the campus of Florida State University, has received a distinguished honor from Venues Today. Based upon total gross ticket sales and attendance from April 1, 2016 thru March 31, 2017, the Tucker Center ranked 3rd within the state of Florida in venues with a capacity of 10,001 – 15,000 according to Venues Today.

Venues Today is the leading source of original reporting for live entertainment and events, serving management, owners, and suppliers to music, sports, and meeting venues internationally with an average of 1,500-2,000 venues reporting. Over the last year, the Tucker Center hosted a variety of concerts including Chance The Rapper, Florida Georgia Line’s “Dig Your Roots Tour”, Earth, Wind & Fire, Lil Wayne and Toby Mac. Tallahassee Top Singles Set to Heat Up the Summer at the Tucker Center

July 19th, 2017- The area’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes have been selected to participate in the hottest event of the season — Tallahassee Magazine’s Top Singles with presenting sponsor Tallahassee Plastic Surgery Clinic. The Masquerade affair will be taking place in the versatile Exhibit Hall inside the Tucker Center on July 29th. The Tucker Center will be transformed from the vision of lead event designer John Gandy Events. DJ services will be provided by Greg Tish and Tish Entertainment. In an effort to raise money for their selected charities, each man or woman will be paired with a live auction package. American Legion Boys State Takes Over Tucker Center

July 12th, 2017 - Per the Florida Legions' website, "American Legion Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for U.S. high school students. Founded in 1935, Boys State is a participatory program in which students become part of the operation of local, county, and state government." This week-long immersive program invites the top students from around the state a chance to learn first-hand the structure of various forms of state government. The students elect their peers to numerous positions and committees in office simulating the official government system of the state of Florida. The event utilized numerous event rooms throughout the Tucker Center, proving the versatility of the event space. The Tucker Center offered daily meals in dining areas, a grand assembly room with stage, polling stations and many more diverse meeting rooms.
